Love. We were created with love, came from love, will return to love - and whilst we are here on Earth we try to give and receive it.

How can you be truly loving and remain true to yourself in every situation? You need to discover what love is. Most people do not know.

Human history has been a tragic search love and the denial of love. Mankind has learnt false concepts and principles relating to love.

You can buy almost anything - but not love. If you don't get it then you freeze inside - and your relationships suffer.

It hurts when we can't share love but avoidance is not the solution. It isn't practical nor possible. The yogi, the mystic, the spiritual monk tries to transcend his desires. But what if you need love? What if you can get it? Why then deny yourself it?

The Oshana Teaching is that we are made to give and receive love with everything. That "everything" includes your self, others, nature and the universe.

Since love is your natural state. It should be easy to enter into love all of the time.

So what stops you? The false identity (ego self) does, by raising up objections, fear of rejection and doubt. These negative emotions and beliefs prevent the real love form being felt and expressed. Consequently, your relationships are based on fictitious and sentimental love. This is not to say that you and others do not love - you do, you know that you do. The inauthentic love stands in as a substitute for the real love that is not able to make an appearance. It's like sending a ready made greeting card to birthday party instead attending and giving a hug.

As much as you want to give love you want to truly receive real love. But the problem is that when you can't give love then you don't feel truly worthy enough to receive it plus you don't attract it.
